Three Williams has to be the most blogged about cafe in Sydney! On Urbanspoon there’s currently 74 blog posts and it keeps growing. It’s just that good. The guys behind this place, Toby Iaccarino and Glenn Bowditch have just got it so right! So instead of replicating information that’s widely available on every other blog, I thought I’d write a quick review and move onto another dimension of Three Williams that’s not so widely blogged about.

Vibe The space is large, industrial and effortless. You get a glimpse of its entirety when you walk in. As you step down to enter, the coffee area/cashier is the centre of focus, whist the tables and chairs casually congregate around it. You’ll see all sorts in here, some suits during the week, hipsters, casual diners, students and parents with their young ones. It has a really relaxed, easy going vibe. Everyone is welcome.

Food Deliciously addictive! For breakfast I would highly recommend the brioche french toast. Hands down! I don’t usually do dessert for breakfast but this dish… You DO NOT want to miss. If you want to go healthy try the quinoa, tapioca, fig and cranberry porridge, served with a warm spiced coconut milk and swirls of honey (Dairy/gluten/guilt-free). For lunch, the Narnies of course ( beef, chicken or prawns) so divine and full of flavour. The fish croquettes, just the right amount of crunch. The sweet potato & trout salad and caramelised cauliflower & chicken salad are great healthier options, really filling, without weighing you down. Also you must get the hot chips on the side – simply perfect! Today they are releasing their new menu (20 Aug 14) GET EXCITED!! I cant wait to try it over the weekend. Sneak peaks here (Cover image is by @iris_sweets. New menu addition: crunchy brioche french toast with caramel banana, hazelnuts and belgian chocolate sauce – Oh lordie! )
Dress code Hard to categorise this one.. such a miscellaneous array of customers and personalities in here, almost anything goes.. but here’s a few outfits I’d throw on.
Another dimension As well as being an amazing breakfast and lunch spot, this incredibly spacious industrial wonderland will be soon be available for hire (That is, as soon as they get their liquor license). They have hosted the $30 and Under Good Food Guide awards here and a few months ago they transformed the venue into the perfect wedding-bonvoyage destination for the handsome couple, Nathan Soulsby & Daniel Steven. (They do the occasional favour for friends). It was so magical! Photos are by Rocket K
Office Hero Three Williams also provides a take away option/ catering service. A delicious alternative to the same boring lunch meeting foccacias that are always available. I know what I would prefer! For more info or to make an order: firstname.lastname@example.org
Last words I would love to see a monthly pop-up mystery dinner happen here, it’s the perfect venue for it. I can picture long communal tables set up with lots of chatter and laughter. I’m imagining a cross between Burke Street Bakery’s Bakery Nights and Studio Neon… That would be amazing!
