I’ve been to Byron Bay many times but this is by far my most romantic and luxurious experience to date. Boyfriend and I definitely know how to blow our hard earned cash! haha

If you’re after a super relaxing luxe long weekend away with Bae, keep reading …

Expert tips: Hire a car!! Not everything is in walking distance and you’ll end up saving $ on Ubers/taxis in the long run.

Where to stay

Elements of Byron is super luxe!

The resort is enormous and has some world class facilities such a tennis court, a general swimming pool and an adults only exclusive pool. You can also go a walking trail, do free yoga in the mornings or swim at Belongil Beach.

Each Villa is surrounded by nature and decorated beautifully. We had a one bedroom Botanica Villa – King bed with ensuite, bathtub, and indoor living area. It’s walking distance to an IGA, bottle shop and shopping precinct. It’s pricey but worth it, you won’t want to leave. I recommend a car for convenience , but there’s an Elements of Byron train that takes you into town as well.

Other affordable highly recommended options are:

Must try restaurants

You’ll be spoilt for choice! Try to book in advance for the higher end restaurants.

There are so many boutique shops in the main town which you’ll find exploring by foot, however a new all-encompassing shopping precinct has opened up on Bayshore drive (very close to Elements) called Habitat byron bay. One definitely worth checking out for homeware, clothing and all sorts of beauty products. Head to Barrio for lunch as its nestled within the precinct.

Swim and Sun bake

Watego is my favourite beach, dare I say in NSW ! Soft sand, crystal clear water, a postcard-worthy stretch of beach.

If you’re not in the mood for sand, head to the Elements of Byron, Central Lagoon pool. Temperature controlled large pool with private cabanas, hanging day beds and full poolside service.

Get Stoned

Not the traditional Nimbin way, but at my favourite massage place, Comma Byron Bay. A tranquil and relaxing minimalist environment. You are in great hands here, the staff are very experienced. I love the 1hr Deeper Fibres massage and my boyfriend is a big fan of the Equilibrium (top half only). Must book in advance.

I also recommend the beautiful Osprey Spa , at Elements! Just heavenly!
